  18. He's angry that it's sponsoring ABC's TV version of The Final
  19. Days, adapted from Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward's book on his
  20. waning presidency and featuring Lane Smith, left. An aide sent
  21. AT&T a searing letter suggesting a change of slogan to "Reach
  22. Out and Smear Someone," and Nixon canceled his AT&T service and
  23. switched to MCI.
